Leeds. Across the Pennines.

Video production for Leeds events and businesses

We are over the hills in Lancashire, close enough to Leeds for a day shoot. The proof is a SHUTDOWN night we filmed at the Royal Armouries, with the queue stretching along the front.

A long queue along the front of the Royal Armouries in Leeds for SHUTDOWN

SHUTDOWN Leeds, March 2022

A big hall at the Royal Armouries.

The title card names the Royal Armouries as the location and Mikey as the filmmaker and editor. Inside it is an arena-scale night: crowd barriers, CO2 jets and a stage the camera has to reach without getting in the way of the security team.

Large rooms, real crowds

Big venues need a plan for the pit and the stage.

In a hall this size the best footage comes from a few places: the barrier, the side of the stage and a high point looking back over the crowd. Getting access to all three is agreed with the venue and the security lead before the event, not negotiated on the night.

Leeds has plenty of large venues for conferences and awards as well as club nights. The same agreements apply there, and the same crew handles both kinds of event.

Leeds questions

What Leeds clients ask us.

We are in Darwen, Lancashire, on the other side of the Pennines. Leeds is a day trip for us, and the travel is a line on the quote rather than something added later.

Business work

Everything we shoot for a business.

The same crew and the same kit, pointed at a product, a person or a place of work.

Send us the venue, the date and what the film is for. We will reply with a plan and a fixed quote that shows the travel on its own line.
