The Pier Jam Tower Festival after movie opens on Central Pier and a grey Irish Sea before cutting to the Tower, the promenade and the festival tents. Weather on the front changes fast, so the shoot plan has a version for sun, wind and rain.
Seafront conditions

Filming on the seafront means salt, spray and gusts that ground a drone in seconds. We bring covers for the kit, plan indoor alternatives for every outdoor shot, and check the forecast with the organiser the day before.
Being a short drive away also means Blackpool businesses can come to the Darwen studio for interviews or product shots, and we can pop back to the front for an extra shot when the weather turns good.
